“Equality is the public recognition, effectively expressed in institutions and manners, of the principle that an equal degree of attention is due to the needs of all human beings.”– Simone Weil

Happiness Centre
(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

The Happiness Centre is a home for over 30 children and young adults living with cerebral palsy. Cerebral Palsy is a condition that can cause mental and physical challenges, including blindness, seizures, speech impairments and paralysis. Many of the residents at the Happiness Centre were abandoned because of their disabilities, and others had families who could not afford to take care of them. Now they live in a safe and loving environment, and receive the medical support they need.
